Where do I even begin?! I did tons of research prior to my breast augmentation, choosing the perfect surgeon was the hardest part up until I had my consultation with Dr. Epstein. He was so thorough, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire process. He has state of the art equipment (digital imaging) to show his patients what breast implants would look like on their body before going into surgery. He’s realistic, smart and doesn’t beat around the bush, he knows exactly what he’s doing and what will look right on the body. I was very curious about the 24 hour recovery that he offers; never did I ever think this was a thing after this kind of surgery; I thought no way, it’s too good to be true. I was WRONG— within 24 hours, I felt great, i was cooking dinner, able to take my dogs for a walk around the neighborhood, and fell back into my normal routine. NO NARCOTICS! Just antibiotics and Tylenol, that’s it. Since I am a living example of his 24 hour recovery, I tell everyone to go see him! His recipe for recovery is absolutely incredible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. I couldn’t be happier with my results! 5 stars hands down!

I decided to do the procedure because my hips were so much wider than my torso and i was never happy with how unproportioned my body looked. My consultation went great. I was able to see a comparison in the shape and size during my visit and Dr Epstein was able to answer all the questions i had. The day of surgery was effortless. The staff made me feel very comfortable and the procedure length was as expected. I decided to go with about 300cc per breast. Each implant was a slightly different cc amount because of my prior size difference and were implanted underneath the muscle. The recovery was also as described. The pain was present but was controlled with the dose of ibuprofen that was prescribed. I was up on my feet and out running errands in less than 24 hours of my surgery. I returned to work about 56 hours (3 days) after surgery. My breasts were very high for the first month but over the next 4 months they dropped to the appropriote position. Im very happy because they look and feel natural. Overall, my experience with Dr. Epstein, the staff, the surgery and recovery all exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend his services (in fact a family member is scheduled for an augmentation next month).

For over 10 years I was so unhappy and self conscious about my breasts. I refused to wear a bra or bathing suit that wasn't extremely padded. I finally decided that I was sick of being unhappy and I wanted to get a BA. I found Dr. Epstein as well as a few other Doctors and I just did a ton of research, looking up reviews and scheduling consultations. Getting a surgery like this I wanted to feel completely confident in the Dr. I went with, (it's surgery so obviously it's something you want to take seriously) When I met with Doctor Epstein, I seriously felt so calm and comfortable, like I've known him for years. The consultation was great, everyone was sooo nice, so knowledgeable. If you want a natural look then do not go to anyone but Dr. Epstein. He took a ton of measurements, factoring in my height, skin, existing tissue to determine which size would fit me best, not overly stretch my skin and look proportionate. The process was so easy and stress free. In the month or 2 before the surgery, Mary Ellen sent me a package with information on what to expect and was there to answer any questions or concerns. The day before surgery, the anesthesiologist called me to also answer any questions or concerns I had. The day of, everyone worked to make me feel calm and comfortable. 1 hr later I was in recovery for about 45 minutes total and then I was able to go home. I went home took a nap and woke up feeling fine ( I cleaned a cooked the day before so I didnt really have to do anything that night) But I took a shower and had no issues lifting my arms to wash my hair or anything. The next day I went to work, I felt slightly sore but I didnt need to take any pain medication throughout the healing process. I honestly felt totally back to normal within a few days. I would go to the gym and do leg workouts, take care of my 2 year old, cook, go out. The follow up was great, a nurse called me the night of the surgery to see how I was feeling and Dr Epstein called me the following day. I honestly love Dr. Epstein and his staff. Everyone is so nice, so knowledgeable, easy to get in touch with (even when I had a question at 9pm) Hands down I would recommend Dr. Epstein to anyone looking to get plastic surgery. I am beyond happy with my results, so natural and Im finally confident! Thank you so much Dr. Epstein! *I am currently 4 weeks post op and am able to go back to all my activity's, lifting over 25lbs, gym, cardio, arm workouts etc.

Both Dr. Epstein and his entire staff were such a pleasure. Everyone in the office is friendly, has a great sense of humor, and made me feel so comfortable. I really liked the anesthesiologist! I knew that I was in a good place and that these were real professionals who know what they're doing. Dr. Epstein did the most amazing job on my reduction/lift. I have absolutely no pain anymore and can lift and do anything I want. My scars are not bad at all. The scar cream he gave me is helpful. My shape and size is EXACTLY what I had always dreamed of!!! I loveeee my breasts now. I am so confident, happy, and I have much better posture. No more back problems! I finally feel comfortable in my own body. The surgery went as smoothly as possible. I recovered even faster than I thought. I never had actual pain when they were healing, just some discomfort. They healed beautifully, and all my friends are jealous of how great I look in clothes! My 19 month old son had a horrific accident when a small marble table fell and severed a good part of his big toe. We rushed him to Stony Brook ER. After many other teams (specialities) consulted, no one took over the surgical aspect of his care. When the plastic surgeon team arrived to do a consult, Dr Mark Epstein was the attending on call that evening and came in to the hospital THAT NIGHT to oversee his team of residents. Clearly, he did not have to do this himself. Dr. Epstein has been the facilitator of a miracle for us along this traumatic journey. He not only has seen my son weekly and accommodated our NYC schedules when we come to Long Island, but he also continues to follow up with phone calls and messages to check on my son, often. Dr. Epstein has even gone so far as to coordinate with NYC plastic surgeons in the event of an emergency, extending himself far beyond anything I ever imagined. Dr. Mark Epstein, although a fabulous and well respected aesthetic surgeon, is also an amazing overall surgeon. His bedside manner is just wonderful. Much to our delight, my son’s recovery has been better than expected. I feel grateful when I reflect on how lucky we were to cross paths with him that night and how lucky we still are to have him in our lives.
