I hope after reading my review, you will feel as confident in your decision to go with Dr. Mark Epstein for your cosmetic surgery. I am four weeks out, and I am so happy with my results. So let's go from the beginning. I am a mother of 3, I am a runner and would say I was in decent shape. No matter how much I exercised I was always uncomfortable with my mid section. I had saggy skin from my pregnancies, and a muffin top when I would sit down in my jeans. I also had not had the once perky breasts I used to have, after nursing 3 children. I was referred to Dr. Mark Epstein by a close friend who had a breast augmentation, she was very pleased and they looked so natural. From the moment I met Dr. Epstein for the consultation, I felt very comfortable and confident he was a master of his craft. He answered all of my questions and spent the time showing me before and after pics of previous clients. I was there to discuss a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, vaser liposuction of the front and back flanks and fat transfer to my buttocks. Dr. Epstein went over each procedure one by one in detail. Being a runner I did not want to go too big on my breast size, Dr. Epstein showed me with the 3D imaging machine what my breasts would look like to the size I wanted. He was able to give me photo prints to take home with me. Dr. Epstein spent an hour with me for my consultation and at the end asked, "Are there any questions I haven't answered?" I felt he answered all my questions in detail. I felt very confident I booked a date for my surgery that day. The day of surgery of course I was nervous, but Dr. Epstein and his staff made me feel like I was in good hands. Before surgery Dr. Epstein took the time to make all of the markings on my body with different color marker of everywhere he was going to sculpt, tighten ,and plump. He took measurements of my breasts and marked accordingly each one. I remember him saying " Would you order a custom suit without getting measured?". Dr. Epstein is a perfectionist. My surgery was about 5 1/2 hours. All went well. Waking up from surgery I never felt any pain, I do remember feeling a little pressure on my chest, but that went away the next day. It was a One Day recovery for my breast augmentation. I went with the Natrelle Gummy Bear implants, I was raising my arms up the same day. My recovery for the other procedures were a lot better than I thought it would be. By day 3, I was able to stand up straight, no pain, just a little muscle soreness. Every day got a little better just like they said. By day 12, I was feeling back to myself as far as being able to move without the soreness and getting around easier. I am very pleased with my results, I don't think I would have gotten better results anywhere else. I would highly recommend Dr. Mark Epstein to whomever is looking to have aesthetic surgery done. But most of all clothes shopping was always emotional. I would look around and see everything that wouldn't fit me and feel bad that I couldn't dress like everyone else! As a young woman having scars in fairly viewable areas on your body can really be an uncomfortable thing. I began seeing Dr. Mark Epstein a few months ago regarding my port scar on my chest area. the scar used to be super noticeable because it was raised and VERY pink. Now only after a few treatments in my scar is barely noticeable and I can't wait to see what it will look (or not look) like in the end. Dr. Epstein has been really nice and super helpful throughout this whole process.

I was driving the next day, and by two days later I was in the city having dinner with a friend with no pain. I am a nurse and my job is pretty physically demanding and I was back at work 5 days later. Everyone I speak to is amazed at how smoothly my recovery went. If you want huge plastic boobs, this is not the surgeon for you. Your result will look natural. Overall I couldn't be happier.

Well, it took me 10 months to gain the weight and 10 months to lose the weight. I went back down to 18% body fat but still couldn't fit in 75% percent of my clothes. My breasts were sagging past my rib cage, almost to the point where my nipples were pointing straight down, and I had a spare tire of extra skin surrounding my midsection. The OR nurses joked that I was the most relaxed patient they've ever had on the table, but that's because the staff has a tremendous calming effect and professionalism. You know that you're in good hands. Following the surgery, I stayed with the private nurse in the hotel and Dr. Epstein was there first thing in the morning to check me out. I went home and the recovery went fairly smoothly. The breast procedure is as advertised--in 48 hours you really are back to normal. The recovery for the abdominal surgery takes longer, so you have to be patient. However, about three days after my surgery, I was experiencing a pain and had some concern. My husband called Dr. Epstein's office on a Saturday--and he personally called back within minutes! This is a level of care and service that I have never experienced before. My recovery took about 8 full weeks. I was able to return to modified workouts in 6 weeks, and full training in the 8. I have spoken to a number of people who have had similar procedures with other doctors, and I can say that what Dr. Epstein is doing is above par. The pain management techniques that he uses, decreasing or eliminating the need for drains, wearing the compression garments and the support vest following the surgery--these all led to better and quicker results. I have been doing laser treatments to improve the appearance of my scars and already 3 months later I look as if I had the surgery a year ago (worth the extra expense). I highly recommend Dr. Epstein and his practice for cosmetic surgery. There is a reason that he comes so highly recommended, that he is noted for his innovation, and that his ratings are so high.
