I had Breast Augmentation done by Dr. Epstein on May 15th. I am 37 years old, and a mother of 3. After childbirth my breasts went down to nothing. They were like deflated balloons. I always had the desire to get implants but was always so nervous because I never wanted to look fake. I am 5ft and thought that with my height implants might make me look out of proportion. After much research and a recommendation from a friend, I got up enough nerve to set up a consultation. Also, being a mom of 3 kids, what also enticed me to go for a consult with Dr. Epstein is the 24 hour rapid recovery because I don't have time to be out of commission for long. Well all I can say is I am so happy I met with him! I instantly felt comfortable with Dr. Epstein and his staff is wonderful too. Everyone made me feel at ease. I explained to him what I desired and he explained to me that he does everything by body type and measurements for each individual patient. I originally went in wanting the new implants called Gummy Bear implants thinking that's what would be the most natural for me, even though they are substantially more expensive. Dr. Epstein explained to me that due to my tissue being so compromised after childbirth they would not give me the best results. Right there and then I realized that he is not just here to make money, but he's here for me, the patient. I booked the surgery right then and went ahead with his recommendation and am thrilled with my results!! On the day of surgery I was very nervous but Dr. Epstein and his staff was exceptional on keeping me calm. When I woke from surgery I was not bandaged or wrapped at all, which was very surprising to me because everyone I've known who has had this type surgery done in the past somewhere else have always been wrapped like mummies. Before I even left the recovery room I was able to lift my arms above my head and doing arm exercises like instructed. The nurses gave me the Recipe for Rapid Recovery instructions and went over everything with me before I left. I was prescribed 800mg of Ibuprofen for pain, and at first I thought that would not be enough but I have to say it was perfect. There was no need for anything stronger. I can honestly say I never experienced any actual pain from the surgery, what I was experiencing was soreness, like a heavy workout. I actually felt so good that I was able to attend a function at my sons school that same night which meant the world to me. I was back to normal activities a couple of days after surgery including picking up my 2 year old. I am now 3 1/2 weeks post surgery and feel amazing. My soreness eases with every day. The one thing that seemed to bother me the most is the sensitivity coming back as the nerves regenerate themselves. My breasts are extremely sensitive but again with each passing day that also eases. I can walk around proudly and not feel intimidated by either being flat chested or fake looking. I could not have imagined how natural I look without seeing it for myself. Everyone is amazed on my quick, painless recovery and can't believe how great I look. I without a doubt recommend Dr. Epstein for your plastic surgery needs. I am 18 years old and since I was a kid, I had been called things such as "dumbo" because my ears stuck out. I had always been too self conscious to even wear my hair up. I eventually decided to fix my ears once and for all and turned straight to Dr. Epstein who had been recommended to us by a friend of my mother's. At my consultation appointment, I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Epstein and his staff made me feel very comfortable and not at all worried that anything would go wrong. On the day of the surgery, I came in very relaxed and ready for the procedure to be done. I was brought into the impressive in-house operating room and the nurses were talking about other things with me to help me feel even more calm. I'm not even sure where this conversation left off because the next thing I knew, I waking up feeling remarkably comfortable. I was only given a sedative and local anesthesia, so the immediate recovery process was extra quick. I was feeling so good by the time I was ready to leave that I even made my parents bring me to IHOP straight from the doctor's office. I came back in two days later to have the big bandage around my head removed and that night after I had cleaned up a little, I looked in the mirror and was really happily surprised at how I looked. What can I say.... I honestly cannot be happier with Dr. Epstein and his team. I am a 32 year old mother of two, who was no longer happy with my body! For 6 months I researched many doctors and their techniques/prices for a mommy makeover. Dr. Epstein offered something no one else in the area could deliver. So, I met with Dr. Epstein again with my husband for a final consultation. He addressed all of our questions and concerns. That night my husband and I deceided Dr. Epstein was the doctor for me. The actual procedure we chose was the extended tummytuck and a breast reduction with lift. Within six weeks I had my mommy makeover. After my surgery i was able to walk out of the office & get into my car. Dr. Epstein called the night of my surgery and came and visited me in the morning just to make sure everything looked up to his standards. He coninued to show this type of care throughout my recovery process. Within a week I was back to my normal routine caring for my 18 month and 3 year old. As far as the results: I CANNOT BE HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!! I am a whole new woman. The body I had before giving birth to my two children has returned!
