After undergoing my breast augmentation surgery in March last year I can honestly say I have never been happier with my body and my results! Dr. Epstein and his staff were wonderful and took such great care of me the entire time, answering any questions or concerns I had and making me feel so comfortable. I was nervous about going under anesthesia since I never had before but they really made everything so easy! Dr. Epstein even adds a personal touch and calls his patients a few hours after they leave the office to make sure you’re alright and sent me flowers the next day! The recovery was quick and almost painless. I was just a little sore for a few days after but nothing serious. I was back to work in 3 days feeling great! I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat & I recommend Dr. Epstein to anyone and everyone I talk to!
My experience with Dr. Epstein was simply phenomenal! I am a 36 year old mom of 2 young boys, both of which I nursed for a year. I am very athletic and have always been barely an A. I was ok with that up until I had my boys. But after I stopped nursing, I felt that although my body was tight and fit, it was extremely out of proportion. Because of this smallness on top, I felt huge on the bottom? After hearing about Dr. Epstein from my girlfriend who has an augmentation (and looks amazing!), I made a consultation. I was sold before I left the office door that night. The 3D imaging brought tears to my eyes when I saw what I looked like and then what I could look like. I signed up immediately. The entire process was top notch, from the pre to the post-op. Dr. Epstein and his staff went above and beyond to make sure I was informed and comfortable. I trust his decisions completely. He knew I was fearful of being "too big" and took every aspect into account sharing that he will only put in what my body was meant to have. His choices were 100% on target. He even had to revise the size of the implants once he began operating. He kept my husband in the loop the entire time and made the best decision. Prior to the surgery I thought I'd need a lift, but now 5 months out, they have lifted and evened out on their own. The night of the surgery I was lifting my arms above my head, needing nothing more than ibprophen. I was even at the beach in a bikini the following weekend. I would recommend Dr. Epstein as the only plastic surgeon anyone considering augmentation should choose.

Awesome! I first met Dr. Epstein 22 years ago when I was in an extremely serious car accident. I was flown to the hospital from the crash site. I had severe fractures in my face, legs, hip, and foot. Dr. Epstein later told me that he was pleasantly surprised when he came in to check on me that first night that I was still living. At this point, I do not remember the accident or first few days in the hospital. The first time I saw my face in the mirror I cried. I looked worse than I could have even imagined. Dr. Epstein reassured me I would look like I did prior to the accident. I was quite skeptical at the time since I looked so bad. I was in the hospital a few days short of 3 months. I did not walk for close to 5 months due to hip and leg fractures sustained in the car accident. Dr. Epstein is the one who worked on my facial fractures. My cheekbones were fractured, maxillary, and my upper palate had damage. I needed a tracheotomy which Dr. Epstein performed. He placed metal screws and fixtures to connect my cheekbone and maxillary damage. The fixtures and screws took place of bone and connected cheekbones together. The incisions were made along the lines under my eye and up through my mouth. No one can tell I had facial fractures to this day. He also has repaired my trachea scar, revised my skin graft that was on my leg, and several other procedures. Over the years, people are amazed when I describe my fractures and tell them how they were fixed. My face did look like it did prior to the accident after the swelling subsided. He used a picture to set my cheekbones and apply the fixtures, plates, and screws. I do have some scars on my legs that were revised to look better. I had my spleen removed since it was ruptured, and Dr. Epstein revised that scar as well. Plastic surgeons always take a lot of pictures, and Dr. Epstein has quite the collection of me. He made some into pictures for me to keep that were taken the first day, and then several as I was recovering. I really liked that he took the time to make them for me. I was done with my procedures and on my way to only having follow-up appointments with the hospital. I would let Dr. Epstein perform surgery on me any day! He has never lied to me and has always been very caring. He had asked me years ago to speak with a few of his trauma patients that had similar fractures to mine. I would never say no to him, he saved my life and made me look good. He always made me feel very special and that is something you do not see in many doctors. He has a way of being empathetic and telling you realistically how a procedure will turn out. He is not going to lie about the pain or swelling. He is the best Dr. and I would recommend him to anyone. When I wanted to have my eye lids and browlift I went to see Dr. Epstein. I live in PA and he is located on Long Island, so there is a distance to get there. He did my procedure over the summer and he is worth the drive! My face looks so much younger than it did. I no longer have crows feet, even when I smile they are not visible. At this point it is 4 months since I had the procedure done. I even had a few people tell me I look in my 20’s. I am 43 years old and don’t think I look in my 20’s. I would say I look early 30’s if I had to guess an age. For me trust is real important and to work on my face he is the one I trust! Not only does Dr. Epstein take the time to get to know you, he has a great bedside manner. His staff is very friendly and helpful.
I would love to share my experience with Dr. Epstein with you. While there are many plastic surgeons out there, like any relationship, you need to find your match. For me, even just from the professionalism of his website, I knew he was the only choice for my breast surgery. I had extremely compromised tissue and was in need of a breast lift, and decided to get implants as well. I was so scared of the down time given I have two small children (3 and 1). Dr. Epstein and his staff assured me that I would be back to “mom” in no time – literally after 24 hours. It was hard to believe, but even with the breast lift and implants, I was lifting my arms over my head in the recovery room as soon as I woke up! I went home, ate a full meal, took my “prescribed” 2 hour nap, showered, and felt awesome. I was out with my husband the very next day and walking around like nothing happened. It was amazing. Dr. Epstein called my house to see how I was feeling, spoke with my husband whom he regarded so sincerely throughout this whole process, and is really, truly invested in his patients. Just a few days following my surgery, my entire family got sick, and landed my 1 year old in the hospital for 4 days. I tell you this because had I gone to another surgeon there is no way I would have been able to care for her the way she needed me to – constant lifting, little sleep, etc. I was back to myself 100% and didn’t miss a beat. I am 8 weeks out of surgery now and could not be happier with the results. My breasts look so natural and fit my body perfectly. The money is so well spent, and you cannot put a price on a surgeon and staff who truly care about your happiness.

My name is Stephanie Huttner and I was asked to speak on my experience with Dr. Mark Epstein and his Staff regarding a bi-lateral reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction) that I completed on January 31st 2012. I’d like to first thank Dr. Epstein and his staff for a successful procedure one I’m sure never to forget. A little history about myself, I am a working class married Hispanic female. I’ve lived on Long Island my whole life. I have a medical history of Chronic back pain and Sciatica. I’ve been through many procedures including Epidural Steroid Injections, Physical Therapy and a Laminectomy of my L-5 Vertebrae. After my back surgery in April of 2011, I resolved to get actively involved in my health. I started taking vitamins, changed my diet, and even started working out to strengthen core muscles. I didn’t anticipate the difficulties however I’d have in exercising. Just so you have and idea and the women in the room can appreciate this I’d need to wear two sports bras just to be able to work out and still I couldn’t do the basic of exercises such as jumping jacks or long term running on a treadmill. As it turned out my biggest obstacle was right in front of my face – pun intended. Before my surgery I was a G cup size. Now if you’re having trouble gauging the size it felt like the equivalent of hanging two cantaloupes from a rope around your neck. Unless you’re that size you can’t imagine the obstacle of such a size. Passing salt across a table, tying a towel around your body, and wearing a swimsuit with a bra to name a few. That’s not even including the daily indents on your shoulders from thick bra straps, rashes from the built up moisture, and a nightmare for cloths shopping. Not to mention all of the both lovely and un-lovely unimaginable insensitive comments people have made. I had enough, and went out in search of a doctor who could help me. Twenty-four Google searches later I found him. Dr. Mark Epstein. I immediately scheduled an appointment. I met with Dr. Epstein and his staff and found the most sensitive, professional, motivated staff on Long Island. The rapport I built with both Staff and Dr. Epstein was better than I could have worked for. The staff was so knowledgeable and eager to help my situation, reassuring, and friendly. They set my mind at ease right away. Dr. Epstein comes off more of an architect than a surgeon. Extremely intelligent, and friendly he answered all of my questions and really gave me what felt like a customized experience to my needs. I never felt like just another patient, he treated me with the utmost respect and we share a wonderful rapport. The staff was no different - friendly and helpful, they treat their patients like friends not just another customer. They were also very thorough with my paperwork and helped get my procedure approved through insurance, they made what could have been an unpleasant experience a pleasure. I owe my new life to Dr. Epstein and their staff for changing my life. Every day without them even knowing it they change lives. This procedure has helped me live better with my newfound flexibility, my ability to now get the most out of my work out, so I can be healthier and live my life to the fullest with a new-found confidence. So my deepest gratitude to Dr. Epstein and Staff, thank you all for giving me my new-found lease on life. I’ll never forget it!

I have severe anxiety and have wanted to get a breast augmentation for four years. I finally worked up the courage to do it and I am so happy I chose Dr. Epstein as my surgeon. His staff is amazing and always welcomed me with a smile. The day of surgery was a breeze. Everyone was so calm and made me feel really relaxed. Dr. Slepian the anesthesiologist started my IV in the pre op room because I was so afraid of walking into the operating room. I remember getting the IV and then waking up in recovery. I did not wake up nauseous or groggy. I never had the “elephant on my chest” sensation because Dr. Epstein doesn’t use surgical bras or tight bandages. I followed the “Recipe for Recovery” when I got home, I ate and took a two hour nap. When I woke up I could not believe how great I felt! I don’t want to use the word pain because it was never painful, just uncomfortable. On a scale of 1-10 my “pain” was a 2, and I was walking around the house, eating meals (not crackers), and I was able to raise my arms up all the way above my head. My “pain” level was never above a 5 and I was only on 800mg of Ibuprofen which took the “pain” down to a 2. Dr. Epstein’s rapid recovery is exactly as promised. Three days after my surgery I was out shopping and went out to dinner, day four I was completely off the Ibuprofen and 100% back to normal, and on day five I was back to work. I was driving, opening my own pill bottles, showering, dressing myself, blow drying my hair, cooking my own meals…everything that people told me I wouldn’t be able to do after surgery, I was doing it. I had no bruising through out my entire recovery period and I am 3 weeks post op and my incisions look so clean, I can barely see them. My family and friends are amazed at how fast I recovered. It has been an amazing and EASY recovery because of Dr. Epstein’s rapid recovery technique and I would do it all over again. I still can’t believe I did it!!! I highly recommend Dr. Epstein to all of my family, friends, and anyone thinking of getting a surgical procedure done. Thank you to Dr. Epstein and his staff for being true to your word. The rapid recovery is real, and Dr. Epstein is the only surgeon I trust to deliver those results!
